R&B Live DC is the City’s Spotlight
Washington, DC (March 9, 2009) - R&B Live DC provided the city with a power packed event last month with our unsigned artists edition and now it’s back by popular demand. On Tuesday, March 17th R&B Live DC proudly welcomes special guest Terrence Cunningham to Posh Restaurant & Supper Lounge. Terrence is a Maryland native and is the great nephew of Jazz Legend Etta Baker. Terrence posses a unique sound and is best described as “alternative soul. He has shared the stage with Ledisi, Emily King and others. He has also shared the stage with Ayanna Gregory, daughter of comedian Dick Gregory during a tribute for Dick. Terrence is currently working on new material.
R&B Live DC is pleased to announce that WKYS personality Antonio “The Cuban Cigar Smoker” will be hosting R&B Live DC this month as DJ Huck Fin spins. Also sharing the stage this month is Alison Carney. She grew up in Washington, DC but spent a lot of time in New York City. She is classically trained on the piano and has shared the stage with Grammy-nominated artists Raheem DeVaughn, Wayna and Kokayi. Alsion is part of the new age of R&B singers and takes you on a journey with her lyrics and her deliverance.
