Crazy that I came across this video. I was singing “This Is It” on the way to work today. I truly do believe that Michael was larger than life. Seeing him on stage, come alive was just amazing! I have been a Spike Lee fan for some time but since his comments about Tyler Perry I became somewhat “iffy” about him, but he did a WONDERFUL job on this video. Spike will always capture ley points and his angles that he uses is INCREDIBLE! I can tell he has studied Alfred Hitchcock, who was the king of those different angles. Check the video out and enjoy! :o)
I can’t WAIT to see this episode! Lady Gaga looks FAB!! She looks great in purple..I also see she’s doing those pointy shouldar pads like Michael Jackson had on his jacket in “This is It”..nive! :o)

So today I was outside about to start to shovel my car out and I got the most disturbing BBM from my girl Cassandra. It said “Girl! Brittany Murphy died!” I couldn’t believe it. I was stunned! She said it was Tai from “Clueless” and I just looked at my phone like “WOW”. I was just talking about the movie “Clueless” on Twitter the other day and joking about Brittany’s famous line “Rollin with the homies”.
I became very sad with this news because one, I grew up on “Clueless”. That was one of the most popular movies in the 90’s and two she was only 32 and three, the world is now less one more great acrtess. She was brilliant in all of her movies. I really enjoyed her in “Don’t Say a Word”. She also played in “8 Mile”, “Freeway”, “Sin City” , “Just Married” and did some episodes of “Sister Sister” and many more movies. Reports says she went into full cardiac arrest but it seems the authorities are not realising anymore than that and so it seems to still be developing. I for one send my deepest condolences to her family & friends. Losing a loved one around the holiday’s is never easy. I know first hand, so please pray for them and anyone else you know who has lost a loved one this yearl. 2009 has been a beast, but still a blessed year.
This year, Candice Nicole PR, along with others will be working for those less fortunate by collection donations of new, unwrapped toys and games to Toys for Tots. We are conducting Washington DC’s Largest Toy Drive, by combining forces with a number of promoters and corporate sponsors and we invite you to join us. By making a donation, you will not only be receiving notable recognition from our media coverage but you will also be making a difference in the lives of the children of your community. We are asking for a donation of ten (10) $10 toys or a cash donation of $200.*Please make checks payable to “DC Toys For Tots”.*
Toys for Tots: The mission of the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children. The Toys for Tots program wishes to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable natural resources - our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
On Tuesday, December 22nd we will be holding a “Toy Drive” (toys are not the only contributions that can be made) at Lotus Lounge, Policy or Eye Bar and are encouraging our patrons to participate in this wonderful opportunity.
Let’s make a different everyone! By one toy at a time we can bring back the innocence of the children. Please pass along to all of your friends & family :o)
Shoutout to Steve Raze (EVP of AllHipHop.com) This is a great episode! The editing is great and I was glued to my computer screen for the full 11 minutes :o) He captured Wale during the release of his debut album “Attention Deficit” (in stores NOW) and it was quite entertaining :o)
I am looking forward to part 2! I just asked Steve on Twitter when that would be released and he said next week it’s looking like, he’s editing it right now as I type :o) So enjoy folks!
Many know about my love for GUCCI! #BURR I just LOVE his music! It get’s me crunk and most of all it’s FUN! :o) So when I went to WSHH I got UBER EXCITED when I saw that he had a video for “Lemonade” which is actually one of my fav on “The State vs Radric Davis” (which is in STORES NOW!!)
So Chris had his pre-album release party last Friday at Ibiza after his show at the Warner Theater. I was there because my client (also a label mate to Chris) was hosting the event..his name? D.C. Don Juan (did a post before this with his recap..hehe)
The place was PACKED & it was a ZOO basically. Security was acting like President Obama was in the building but I guess they have to be that way now (3 fights brokw out) SMH..but all in all it was a great time! From the chatting with friends to watching the girls (and guys) stare at Chris Brown in his VIP on stage..(PURE comedy) but check the flix out! Enjoy :o)
