Catering to the African American Up & Coming Individuals in Music, Fashion & Community Service
Washington, DC (June 9, 2010) - The first thing to come to mind when you hear “VAIN” really isn’t a good thought. The definition itself means “having no real value or significance; worthless, empty, idle, hollow.” However, SoVain Magazine switched that very word into a positive with “VAIN” standing for Very Ambitious INdividuals. This magazine is the brain child of Sylvanus Uagbor who is a graduated of Morgan State University (08). Sylvanus naturally has a love for writing and relaying the message of positive movements within music, fashion, community service and entrepreneurial world and that is why he decided to venture out and start his own online magazine, which he desires to turn into print in the future as well.
When asked what his goals are for SoVain Magazine he states “I would like my magazine to be the main destination for finding current trends and aspiring talent. There’s an abundance of talent within the African American community that has yet to be highlighted. We do have a voice!” SoVain Magazine will become a movement in due time and has the potential to become one of the leading online magazines on the world wide web.
To personally reach out to Sylvanus for features, music submissions, etc. please email him at info@sovainmag.com and please make sure to visit the future destination of the hottest talent to emerge from the African American community at www.sovainmag.com.
