This beautiful man was in DC Oct 2nd and all I can say is WOW! Like I am still on my “Maxwell High” and want to listen to him ALL the time. You would think after the concert you would be good, let the cd rest..NOPE..My Mommy and I are STILL rockin his cd everytime we get in the car :o)
This by far is one of the BEST show’s I have EVER been to. It’s up there with Kanye West “Glow in the Dark” and New Kids on The Block (YES I said them..they shut DOWN the Verizon center last year actually onthe same day as the Maxwell show) LOL. Oh! COMMON? Lawwwd..he killed his set, even did some break dancing ending up in that b-boy stance. Dude is in great shape and it shows. He had Bilal out there with him as well. I like Bilal better with a low cut :o) HOWEVER, the man of the hour was MAXWELL!! In my opinion he is a mash up b/n Frankie Lymon, James Brown and Al Green. He is SOUL MUSIC!! He did his thing in that SUIT the whole time..just sexiness and OH-MY-GOODNESS all around! He did my FAV song off the new album “BLACK Summer’s Night” titled “Fistful of Tears”..if you have not heard it, please listen to it. He also did a lot of his old music like “Woman’s Work”, “Lifetime”, “Fortunate”, “Till the Cops Come Knockin” and music more!

I really have a lot of respect for this dude Kyonte. Not only is he talented, but he is a grinder and is very humble. He always shows love and comes out to my events so I thought I would post his upcoming show at the legendary Blues Alley in DC. I went to his show there last year with my sister and he puts on a great show and his band is CRAZY!! It will take place Jan 8th at two times, 8 and 10pm.
