First, I would like to say that I am SO happy with the news that was released this morning by Viacom and it’s earning’s for second quarter. To see that BET Networks had delivered so well was a bonus! With that said, I will share an excerpt from the press release that was sent out this morning.

The weekend of the inauguration is going to be one insane week! BET is kicking off the weekend with the taping of 2nd Annual BET Honors. This is the second year the awards will be in Washington, DC and this years honorees are really power packed! This year, BET is honoring the following:

• Educator- Judith Jamison
• Corporate Citizen- Earvin “Magic” Johnson
• Entrepreneur- B. Smith
• Public Service- James E. Clyburn
