So I was cruising the net and I thought “Hmm, let me head over to Elitaste and see what’s going on over there”, since I’m thinking about going to the Wale show in B-More on Monday. I won’t be able to catch him in DC June 3rd (will be in PA for my cousins graduation)
Looks like he will be DEBUTING the NEW Jordan L’Style shoe and I have to say I like the shoe. It’s very clean and just has an all around neat look to it. It’s a screen shot from the “Chillin” video which I know is going to be SICK!
I actually saw the video about two weeks ago at his DC premiere and LOVED it! So glad today is the WORLD premiere! :o) Tabi always delivers folks! Support him! This is the first single off of his “dope” EP which is avail on iTunes right now. Enjoy!

Soooooo last night was a SERIOUS treat for the DC area, but first let me rewind a bit. I had SUCH a productive day at work and handling some PR things I couldn’t wait to get home, change and head up with my girls! Headed to the Tabi Bonney event was a journey for us. Number one it was being held at a secret location AND you had to have a password to gain access. I thought that was really cute. We need to do more things like that here :o) So okay! I got all the info from his team like 2 days before so we were good. Cousin Brittany is driving and we have the navigation out. She says “you have arrived at your destination”. THAT was a NEGATIVE..LoL. So, luckily I had Jay Promo’s number so I hit him and he got us there :o)

The atmosphere was “dope”. It was the movers and shakers of the area. Great to be surrounded by people who are making moves just like your self and have a PASSION for the industry. I am still not sure where we actually were. Looked like a warehouse and we went up to the third floor and it was like a house party kind of. The feel was great! The video premiered around 10:30 pm and of couse it’s SICK! Tabi does it everytime! Shout out to Cool Kids Forever Films. Nice job :o) Can’t wait to see it on MTV, BET & VH-1.

The above event took place on TUESDAY and boy was that an entertaining show! If you are an up & coming rapper you really need to tune into “Funkadelic Freestyles” every TUESDAY on www.gwradio.com @8pm. It’s hosted by jben.ok and he definitely holds it down! The cast they had was..uhhhh..LoL, HILARIOUS!! and next time they do it, I want in okay? :o) THANKS! lol. Now let’s see here..they had 2Hood4Hollywood, Jay Promo, Adrian, Tabi Bonney, X.O., Rique & Kevin and I know many others in the studio, that was off top the head. They talked about everything and of course they discussed Twitter and I even got my shout out (WHOOP!) So all in all it was a successful night!

Nuff Said! The album “Dope” drops Jan 20th! A good day, a very historic one! Support Tabi Bonney, he is the man seriously! On Jan 17th he will be LIVE at the adidas store in georgetown and Haziq & Luegar will be performing as well. LOVES IT!

On Sunday, Jan. 4th at Langon Park Rec Center, Tabi Bonney shot his video for “Duh”. Elite DC Magazine was in the building and got some great flix and some behind the scene footage too! WHOOP! My girls and I didn’t get there until 6:30/6:40pm but I heard a lot of folks came through to show love. Well to be EXACT, they will be at Mirrors, which is right on 33NEW YORK AVE! If I’m not mistaken, I think this is the shoot they are taping for the “My Block:DC” ??? Hmmm, am I wrong?
Well anywho, Wale, Tabi Bonney AND UCB will be performing LIVE so I suggest if your in the area around 7:30pm, head down there..and also..I mean how BIG is this for our area?! FINALLY!! I just LOVE IT!! Tell a friend to tell a friend and then a cousin..PASS IT ALONG!
