So I was cruising the net and I thought “Hmm, let me head over to Elitaste and see what’s going on over there”, since I’m thinking about going to the Wale show in B-More on Monday. I won’t be able to catch him in DC June 3rd (will be in PA for my cousins graduation)
Looks like he will be DEBUTING the NEW Jordan L’Style shoe and I have to say I like the shoe. It’s very clean and just has an all around neat look to it. It’s a screen shot from the “Chillin” video which I know is going to be SICK!

Big G & Wale at Ben’s Chili Bowl on U St
As you know on Tuesday I posted the photo recap on Wale’s video shoot in Boston (see HERE) and yesterday he brought the video shoot to his HOMETOWN! Owwwwww! He did some scenes at the Madness store and the world famous Ben’s Chili Bowl on U st! I really can’t wait to see the final product, I hope the turn around won’t be too long.. LoL..but anywho..GRETA LOOK for the area and I only hope for continued success for Wale!
Some cameos that you will see in the vid will be Bun B, Young Chris, Tre (of UCB), Big G (BYB & “The Wire”), DC MC’s Kingpin Slim, XO and Producer AB the Producer and I’m pretty sure MANY more :o)

Yesterday Wale shot his “Chillin” video which feaures label mate Lady Gaga in Boston. The song is produced by the miami duo Cool & Dre and the music video was directed by Chris Robinson. Looks like Wale & Chris work good as a team, as Chris Robinson directed “Nike Boots” which was shot in Washington, DC last year. By the pictures I’m not too sure what the concept is but I am looking forward to the final product!

I checked my inbox last night and was surprised to see this new track by The Pussycat Dolls! I heart them and it made it even better when I saw that OSINACHI produced the track! It’s called “Painted Windows” and this is another banger for the ladies!
OSINACHI is from the DMV area and is signed to Darkchild Ent (Rodney Jerkin’s company) and he is also the genious behind Wale’s “Nike Boots”. He’s one of the most humble guys I know, really and I’m so happy all of this success is coming his way. He is the FUTURE of producing!

He came through R&B Live DC last night andI appreciate that! Nothing like having homegrown talent in the building :o) Well, Wale is now writing a blog on hypebeast.com and it looks like he just started yesterday and then today he leaked a track off his upcoming mixtape with 9th Wonder.

This JUST happened about 1 min ago! I am EXCITED! I won’t front dude had me sitting on pins and needles as he was leading up to the announcement of his album title! CONGRATS Wale! I am SO happy this day has come for you! The title is “ATTENTION:DEFICIT” and will hit the scene Summer 09! I KNEW this summer was going to be big! Geesh! Let’s Get It! :o)

Looks like Wale has a power packed week ahead of him (starting 3-16) and I’m looking forward to it. Might I add I am SUPER DUPER EXCITED that Lady Gaga is on his first single “Chillin”. I heart her and wouldn’t it be hot if he did her two DC shows with her? HmMmMmMm..Diz-OPE that would be! :o)
